What happens at a 2nd Division arraignment?

At arraignment the judge reads the DUI charges, asks how you plead (usually "not guilty" at the first appearance), sets bail or release conditions, and assigns the first pretrial date. The hearing is brief. You should have a lawyer with you. The arraignment also confirms whether a refusal hearing at the Traffic Tribunal is required.
