Yes. The URI Office of Student Conduct runs a discipline process that runs parallel to the criminal case. Arrest alone can trigger discipline before any conviction. Sanctions range from warning to probation to suspension to expulsion. Greek life chapters and athletic teams often impose their own sanctions on top.
